# We're at the Bridal Show! Here's What We're Offering

If you're reading this and you're engaged, first of all, congratulations. Second, come say hi this weekend. Lima Bean Photography is set up at the 2026 Bridal Spectacular, and I've got some genuinely great stuff happening at our booth.

The Setup

I spent the better part of yesterday hauling albums, prints, and display stands into the convention center, and I'll be honest, it's one of my favorite parts of doing these shows. There's something about building the booth from scratch that gets me excited. Laying out the leather-bound albums, hanging the big canvas prints, testing the slideshow on the monitor to make sure the colors look right. It's basically my version of decorating for a party.

This year's booth is all about letting you see and touch the actual products. I've got sample wedding albums in three different cover materials, a set of fine art prints on display, and a continuous slideshow of recent weddings playing on screen. I wanted the booth to feel less like a sales pitch and more like flipping through someone's living room coffee table books.

The Free Engagement Session Offer

Here's the big one. Every couple who books a wedding photography package at the show (or within one week of the show) gets a complimentary engagement session. No strings, no catch. That's a full 60-90 minute session at a location of your choice, with all edited images delivered digitally.

I do this for a real reason beyond just being generous: the engagement session is the single best thing you can do to make your wedding photos better. It gives us a chance to work together before the wedding day so you know what to expect from me, I know what angles and lighting work best for you, and we've already broken through the "I'm awkward in front of cameras" barrier before it actually matters.

If you can't make it to the show but want to take advantage of the offer, you can grab the free engagement session here.

Show-Only Pricing

I'm offering exclusive pricing on wedding packages that's only available at the show and for one week after. I won't post the exact numbers here because they change year to year, but I will say this: if you've been comparing photographers and Lima Bean is on your shortlist, the show pricing is the best deal you'll find all year. Come to the booth and I'll walk you through everything.

What Couples Always Ask at the Show

I've done enough bridal shows to know the top three questions before anyone even opens their mouth:

"How many weddings have you shot?" Hundreds. Across venues all over Southern California, from beachfront ceremonies in Laguna to estate weddings in Temecula to rooftop receptions in downtown LA. I've seen just about every venue, every lighting condition, and every timeline curveball. That experience is what lets me stay calm and creative no matter what your wedding day throws at us. "What's your style?" I'd describe it as natural, warm, and editorial. I'm not going to pose you into stiff, uncomfortable positions. I direct loosely and let real moments happen. The result is photos that feel like you, not like you're modeling for a stock photo. "What's included in your packages?" Every package includes full-day coverage, a second photographer, an online gallery with digital downloads, and a print credit. Beyond that, packages scale up to include engagement sessions, albums, parent albums, and extended hours. I'll have all the details laid out at the booth.

The Part I Actually Love Most

The thing about bridal shows that keeps me coming back isn't the bookings. It's meeting the couples. I get to shake hands with people who are in the middle of one of the most exciting seasons of their lives. They're picking their venue, tasting cakes, arguing about color palettes, and trying to figure out how they're going to afford all of it. And somewhere in that chaos, they stop by my booth and we just talk.

Meeting couples at the bridal show booth

Some of those conversations are five minutes. Some are forty-five. I've had couples come back to my booth three times in one day because they wanted to look through the albums again. I've had moms cry looking at the parent album samples. It's a genuinely fun day, and it reminds me why I love this job.

We're set up in the main hall. Look for the big Lima Bean Photography banner and the guy who's way too excited to show you wedding albums. If you're engaged, bring your partner.
